Railway cancels several trains in Sealdah division on December 28-29

Eastern Railway has announced the cancellation of multiple local trains in the Sealdah Division this weekend due to critical track maintenance work. The maintenance is scheduled to take place near Dumdum, impacting services in key sections like Bangaon, Hasnabad, and Dankuni. The disruption will begin at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 28, and continue until 6:30 AM on Sunday, December 29. During this time, the power supply in the affected sections will be suspended for approximately seven hours on Saturday, leading to significant adjustments in train schedules.
